Based on a typical farmhouse loaf, this round loaf and creates an impressive centre piece for any table. Made with whole wheat flour, it requires a 2 day process but is well worth the wait. The thick crust protects the moist open textured crumb and the subtle pleasant sour taste complements any meal. This loaf would last up to a week if not devoured within the first day.
