Light golden colour, lovely nose of ripe pears, apple-blossom and honey. Fleshy fruit on the palate (peaches and white pears), a surprisingly fresh finish with a touch of grapefruit. This would be good with fishcakes or dressed crab. Would also tackle spicy food rather well.
Location: Aniane in the Gassac Valley, France.
Grape: Viognier (80%), Marsanne (20%).
